Jenkka Crosses Borders
It also makes people happy. It connects people. At least according to Mitsukoshi department store in Japan's most exclusive shopping street in Ginza.
Jenkka even makes sumo-wrestlers smile!
Jenkka cuddled up against the likes of Louis Vuitton and Bulgari.
But where else does a screen showing Mitsukoshi employees dancing letka-jenkka, the Finnish version of line dancing, belong if not in Ginza.
After all... this is Japan.
Or rather, that was Japan.
Luckily there are several brands of madness in Taipei as well, so life is unlikely to get boring any time soon. Though it may remain strangely dangerous!
